Who are we?

Tamara is the girl with a dream to provide the sweeter things in life to the community.

Since she was a little girl Tamara loved to be in the kitchen and she would cook for her family and bake on special occasions, but it was not until her children came along that she found a love for all things baking.

Custom cakes to suit the event, cupcakes for the office, cookies to say thanks and of course those family slice recipes, Tamara has found a way to deliver sweetness to everyone.

The Name

Growing up in a household of 7, Tamara had a special bond with her Uncle Al. He was always a jokester and never let life get too serious. He had an ongoing cheeky response to many questions and that was... you guessed it 895. Whether it be the cost of something or the number of something, you could be sure to know the answer he would give.

Tamara always told him, one day she would open a cafe or restaurant and name it in honour of him, her idol.

Thus today, Tamara has her home business named eight9five which means more to her than just delivering deliciousness, but a childhood dream coming to life.

Cupcakes- we take custom cupcake orders and we bake regularly where you can try our famous flavours.

Custom Cakes- Do you need a masterpiece to complete your party? We can do that.

Custom Cookies- Do you need a party favour? We got you.

Gift Boxes- We create sweet gift boxes for all the special occasions.

  • We require at least 7 days notice for custom cake orders.

    This is to source all that we need and to ensure we can provide the perfect cake. More detailed cakes and designs would require more notice.

    There are times where we can create what you are after with less notice but this will incur a fee.

  • We are not allergen friendly.

    We bake with nuts, eggs, dairy, gluten and soy.

  • We are not offering on our menu any vegan options, however if you would like to contact us, we are willing to make appropriate changes where required. Note, conditions may apply to changing to vegan options.

  • We are happy to deliver custom cake orders to ensure safe travelling however depending on the distance from us, this may incur a charge.
